My 23 month old boy has it everywhere and it's becoming itchy. I am nervous to put lotion on him because it do not want to worsen it!

Thanks so much. Is very gross and I feel so bad for him because all he wants to do is itch :(

I am definitely going to try the milkshakes because he hasn't been interested in the Popsicles. Is an aveeno bath any better than an Epsom salt bath?

no remedies- it has to take its course, but you can make your kiddo more comfortable. It's gross isn't it?

Stay away from juice and popsicles- the acidity burns. Stick with dairy (or fake dairy) products like the 'milkshake' pediasures, water, ice cream or milkshakes (i made one with almond milk, bananas and sweet potato). you can also try orabase (like oragel, but a creamy substance) for mouth sores.
baths with epsom salts can help dry out the sores on their body.
lots of hugs, kisses, and tv time (we're not huge fans, but it wiped out our kids so much we didn't do much else for a few days)
