my son has one great great, i would assume unless all the women in the family fall pregnant at a very very young age this is probably pretty rare and for a great great great would be even rarer

We had five generations until a couple of years ago when my great grandmother died. We had taken plenty of photos. My daughter is named after my great grandmother. Congratulations on your beautiful son.

We also have a 5 generation situation with my grandma Helen, then my mom Susan, myself Jill, My daughters Jamie and Amanda and their daughters Enjoli and Iliana. I have never heard of anyone with more than 5, I would get pictures, most news papers like to publish 5 generation pictures, since they are not very common.

My boys have great-grandparents (both on my mothers side). Unfortunately they live 6 hours away so we try to get to see them as much as possible. We take all the pics and videos we can!!

When my 2nd son was born his great grandmother, my maternal randmother, who was in hospital at the time, nursed him and then she was gone. I am so grateful that there was that brief contact between them, even though my soncertainly doesn't remember, but hehas beentold. several years later two of my sons were able to meet their pateral great grandmother before she was gone. My youngest two never had that opportunity

We have 5 generations alive and very healthy in our family. The oldest in the 5th generation is nearly 12 and our first generation are in their mid 90s. So it is very possible that we would end up with 6 generations alive.

For our family we have one great great great grandmother that is 105 this year-loves baseball and will remember every one on a rainy day. She is on my dad's side. Also on my mother's side we have a great great great grandfather. He does not remember anyone and turned pretty mean. We are closer to his nurse that cares for him then him anymore. Then we have on my father's side 3 sets of great great grandparents and on my mother's side we have 2 sets of great great grandparents. On my husband side we have 1 set of great great grandparents. We have 3 great aunts and uncles on both sides. We have alot of family. We have good genes! ;-)

My mother is a great grandma but I never had a great grandma as my mum had me at 43 and her mum was in her 70's so I was unlucky, nothing wrong with being an older mum
