I used to buy Carter's clothes for my daughter all the time because they fit so much better than other brands, but then I found out how little they care about children so I quit buying from them.
Carter's does not take any action against forced or child labor. That means an 8 or 9 year old could be making our babies' clothes, or an adult forced into labor could be making them for that matter.
This website has a list of companies that they have graded based on the steps they take to prevent child and forced labor. http://free2work.org/home
This is a link to their page that describes how they grade companies. http://free2work.org/f2wrating
And this is Carter's company profile. http://free2work.org/corp/1112/Carter's
As you can see, they failed according to this website because they take absolutely NO steps to prevent using child labor. It's disgusting.
Let me know if you have any other info. on Carter's and their ethics.
