you can always try the fork/spoon test.. its worked for me and my friends everytime. its kind of obscure but it did the job.. have your husband take 2 chairs, put a fork under 1 cushion and a spoon under the other then you come into the room and choose a chair.. the fork is a girl the spoon is a boy

The heart rate myth was wrong for me My first daughter heart rate was in the 160s which was right but my second daughters was in the 130 -140 range. Nothing could be seen on her ultrasound.

Not to sure about the heart rate. I had 3 boys and all of their heartrates were around 150-160. I do not smoke, and I had no caffeine or stuff like that during my pregnancies that would have effetcted the heartrate. My sis-in-law had 3 ultrasounds and they all said she was having a girl, but out came a boy! 100% is to wait til the birth.

ya it's true the heart rate one isnt always right. my sons heart rate was between 150-160 and i'm currently pregnant with another boy and my last ultrasound his heartrate was 153. i did the chinese gender one and it said boy for both of mine but i did it for my sister and her first is a boy and it said a girl. there's all sorts of myths out there, like the ring on the string, how you are carrying, where you are gaining weight, how sick you are and that's exactly what they are, myths. i wouldnt go by anything until you have your ultrasound.......

No. The only way you can tell 100% is when that baby is born! Even ultrasounds can be wrong. My friend was told a girl, and the baby is a boy! The heart rate isnt always right either. My son always had a heart rate of about 160. And he's 100% boy :)

Quoting Trudi:

By the heart rate. Below 150 bpm is a boy above is a girl. 95% accurate. Was 100% accurate for me 4 times!!

Oh, I hope that one is true!!  It was true for me last pregnancy, but wrong for my friend.  Now I'm pregnant again and hoping I can follow that myth because I like what it's telling me so far.

Not really...you just gotta hope that if you want a girl your guy gave you an x chromosone and if you want a boy he gave you a y chromosone... there are chinese gender charts that you can suppsoidly follow and I tried with my second one and it said girl and i was excited because I alredau had my boy and at the ultrasound it was a boy!
