are there any mom's out there that have babies on Nutramigen? Did they refuse to drink it?

My daughter Hailey got put on Nutramigen and she hates it, any suggestions?

she is two months old and she just cries and cries she would not eat at all yesterday

I have 2 kids that were on it. My son, he was way to old when they tried to put him on it and he refused it. My daughter was put on it at a month old and had no problems.The DR told me to slowly start my son on it. every week increase the amount of it I add to his bottle. So I had to mix it with his other formula....I was told to start mixing 1/4, 1/3, the 1/2 and so forth. My soon wouldnt take it if it was half and half, so they switcherd him to Lactose Enfamil. Maybe you can do the same. I would ask the doc to make sure though. If she isnt over 6 months you may have better luck than me :) My son was 7/8 months then. Good Luck.

I am a Grandmother raising grand children..my youngest one is now 11yrs old...she was on Nutramigen and I experienced the same thing...the pediatrician had me to put a flavoring in it....she said to get coffee flavoring such as hazelnut...that is just one of many..she loved the hazelnut flavor so I didn't try anymore...the flavoring is liquid not the creamer...hope I was of some help...like to add...when she went on whole milk, it was hard to get her to drink that also...I had to add strawberry syrup flavoring to that for her to drink it..

My daughter was on it and really wouldn't drink it, so we put her back on regular enfamil. I would try soy like Prosobe by Enfamil.

My daughter was on Nutramigen that was the only thing that she could handle how old is Hailey ? i would put a little rice in her bottle's. my daughter loved that even more but if she hate's it . go to your dr and tell them you need her on something else . they will put her what ever she like's. i had to switch a few time's till i found something that she liked and could handle ..

How long have you been trying to get her to drink it? How old is she? My son was put on Nutrimagen at 2months and took to it just fine. I guess it had not gotten too use to the other formula to miss it or notice the difference. Like others have told me about other new things I tried giving my son...keeping at it and when she gets hungry she will take it.
