My 5mth old son Jaxon has MCDK on the right side and am currently going through tests now. It can be a hard time. I would like to know if anyone else is currently in the same situation (or has been for awhile).

Hi Shantelle, I currently have a 5 month old little boy that carries the diagnosis of MCDK also of the right kidney. He was diagnosed with MCDK inutero at my 20 week ultrasound. He has followed up a few times with ultrasounds and has had a VCUG done right after he was born to check for any more issues. As it stands right now, Lucas is doing amazing at his last follow up appointment they had changed his follow up appt to every 6 months now (we were following every 3). The right kidney showed signs of shrinking and left kidney is stable. I hope little Jaxon is doing well. It's nice to know there are other people out there who have been in the same boat as I am. I'm not sure if you have found, but there is a group through facebook that takes about MCDK. It's nice to hear everyone elses stories. Thanks again for the post.
