No I don't think that's ok. That is far too much milk for a child that age. I would consult a doctor or child health nurse.

Scoops? Are you talking about formula?

I'd say he shouldn't be drinking formula at all at 18 months, and as for feeding him every hour, give him some real food and he won't be so hungry.

I agree with Kate. Also, if he transitioned to solids, he would be full for a longer time and be better suited to meals with snacks throughout the day, not eating every hour.

He should be getting a majority of his nutrition from solid foods at this point. I would talk to your doctor about this.
