Hi Stephanie, My name is Liz, and yes perfectly normal, babies are normally 0 until 1 year old in sizes. My little Henry was 8lb4 born and wore size 0 up until 14mths and walked at 9and a half months..... AAAHHH small is agile. enjoy your little one. My Henry is 13 now and a size 13 shoe and is 5ft7 Yikes. blessings to you X

Hi there, Im from New Zealand so sizing is probably different. My girls were tiny and my 5 yer old granddaughter is wearing 3 year olds clothes as she is tiny as well. They are all healthy & growing so I wouldnt worry. Children all grow at different rates & as they get older will start to grow more & put on a lot more weight

My son is smaller for his age, but the doctor told us to not to worry. If he is gaining weight and eating well, not to worry. He also told us to gradually increase his food and formula. We have been doing that, he he is slowly gaining weight. He is very active, as well. The doctor told us that has a lot to do with it, too. He has NEVER just sat, laid down, etc. for more than a few seconds. So, don't worry about it. If you have concerns, ask your doctor. I always have a list when I go each time!! As you can tell, I am a new mom!!! :)

My 16 month old is still wearing a size 3 diaper, all three of my kids were very petite when they were young but as they got older they filled out, my 6 year old is perfectly average size. I wouldn't be worried unless your pediatrician is concerned.

Don't feel bad. My daughter is 13 months old. Wearing 9month clothes, wears a size 2 shoe and size 3 diapers. She's 19lbs as well, very tiny. They all grow at different rates and boys are usually small until their teens anyway and shoot up past everyone in one summer! :-) I'm sure he's healthy as long as he continues to grow and not lose weight. My daughter scared me a little bit when she had the flu two months ago, she wouldn't eat and lost 2lbs but the doc assured me she was fine. :-)

my oldest never wore a bigger then size 3 diapers till he potty trained at 26 months http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/usefultoo...
both of my kids weighed the same at 1 but are shaped different therefore wear different size clothing and my 14 month old has been a size 4 diaper for a while while her brother never got higher then a size 3... as long as he's gaining and on track developmentally thats what is important

He wears size 3 diapers. He has been wearing 3 to 6 months clothing, but he is about to move on to the next size.
