About what age is does a baby get more solid poops? I mean solid, like close to adult looking, not like the toothpaste type. I'm so tired of this messy stuff, lol:)

If my guy gets his anymore solid he's grunting & groaning away so I think maybe for him it's best that way. I find pear juice works for him if he's a tad constipated, and I can't give him too much cuz he will loosen up, but apple juice shuts his factory down and nothing comes out. Not sure why hey.

maybe its just something inside of the food that you are giving him that makes him not as solid. I do know that apple juice can loosen stool up, also drinking lots of water can also.

That's the way my daughter's is, as well, Sharon. I want a little more solid formation rather than the muddy type, but can't figure out why it would be anything else while on solids. Maybe I give her too much juice? She does drink a lot of that. She's 15 months, by the way:)

Well my little man is turning one next week and he's kinda like thick mud, sometimes a little bit of formation to it, but still gross & sticky. He's on 3 solid meals, 2 snacks & 3 bottles a day.

I agree once a child starts to have one/two meals a day they should have soild or close to soild poops. Smelly and gross, not sure why you would want that LOL.

I do believe they get more solid poops when you start feeding them solid foods. Not just supplementing solid foods, it will make it more solid than formula or breast milk poo, but not like an adults. If your baby is eating only solid foods and is still having runny poo you should probably talk to your doctor about it.
