Has anybody ever used the Baby's First White Noise CD? I am moving my 9 month old from our bed to his crib. He is napping good, but noise carries quite easily in our home. I was hoping to try this so he can sleep more soundly. Does it really help?

Yes it helps a ton.  We actually bought a noise machine (they usually have a white noise setting) for my daughter.  I have 2 older boys and they are noisy.  I used it with her from birth and it works awesome.  She has been my best sleeper out of all 3 kids.  It helps too during storms and stuff like that to drown out the noise.  I say go buy one and enjoy the peace and quiet!!!

Our son has had a noise maker under his crib since he was born. It has multiple settings but we have it on the white noise setting and it has worked awesome. I'm afraid to take it out of his room since it has worked so well.

We just set our radio to a station that gets just static and it works great.  I can leave my son's door open and do housework and he doesn't wake up and it's cheaper than a cd.

I have tried a CD but what works even better is a white noise machine, it has several different sounds and both my 5 year old and 3 year old fall asleep to it every night since they were about one. They both had a hard time falling asleep on there own and this seems to work. And the best part is I can take it to hotels, traveling to others' houses, etc...not worrying about if they have a Cd player. I think I bought it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I love it!
