Okay, we all know what they're SUPPOSED to be used for: wiping our cutey-patooties' patooties! But, what other fascinating things have you found baby wipes to be useful for? Personally, I have discovered they:
Take crayons off of walls
Take blood stains out of clothes
Remove make-up without irritating my face

So what do you use your wipes for?

Ha Ha! Great question and answers! Dusting furniture...I really like CVS store brand cloth wipes...they clean up my little one well and don't rip when I pull them out of the wipe box holder....also, my face if I've been sweating out on our jogs or walks.....

What DON'T I use wipes for? LOL Wipes are very much a staple in my purse and car! They are great for make-up, chocolate stains when they first happen, crayon & marker cleanup, table clean-up at the mall...I can go on and on. :)

I figured whatever is good enough for my childs patootie is good enough for my own. Don't knock it till you try it...YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH IS LEFT "BEHIND" with whatever tissue you use!

This is what's in MY baby wipes:

Water, Aloe Barbadensis (Leaf Juice), Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, BIS-PEG/PPG-16/16 Dimethicone, Caprylic/CapricTriglyceride, PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Phosphate, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Benzyl Alcohol, Iodopropynl Butylcarbamate, Citirc Acid, Bisabolol, Chamomilla Recuita Flower Extract (matricaria)

It's the alcohol that does the cleaning, methinks.

Really if you think about all the stuff that you are cleaning and getting stubborn stains off with baby wpes, what are they doing to your babies butts and what is going into their mouths. It maynot be germs, but what is in the wipes that isremoving all the yuck????

Just found out they'll take marker and "dog funk" off the wall.

...Don't ask what "dog funk" is. You really don't want to know.

I use them for my own toileting. I find them mild on our little botties as well but also work out cheaper as you only need one or two as apposed to more squares of toilet paper. But I find they are good for not only pretty much everything mentioned previously, but so much more. My youngest is 11 and still keep a travel pack in my bag for whatever comes up. They are an essential item on my shopping list

Of course they have multiple purposes, including cleaning up anything on your kid. They also help cleaning up stain from hair color. The best way to do this is to use it while the hair color is on your skin. If you wait until after you have washed the hair color out, it has already set. I also use them for a quick sponge bath when I can't get a shower. Oh yah, they are also great for making your dog smell better!

@Bridget: Lord I would hope not lol! It was probably the dye in the shirt that wasn't color-fast and easily faded / rinsed out when trying to remove the stain. Ive spot treated clothes before and the same thing has happened. It's not the baby wipes, I'm positive! : )

I used a wipe to take a ketchup stain out of a shirt and then my shirt ended up with a bleached spot in it! Not sure that was a good idea! Is there bleach in them?

If my boys spill just a little of something on the floor, baby wipe!! I wipe hands and faces, we clean electronics, shoes, car upholstery, high chairs and tables at restaurants, and I always wipe down public changing tables before using them. Pretty much anything you can think of, I have probably used a baby wipe!!

I also use wipeys to wipe down my dog and to clean his little bum after he comes in from taking a potty. He's a Chihuahua / Min-Pin mix. If you don't clean his bum everytime he'll scoot it along the floor which is nasty. : )

I use them everyday to take my make-up off. Ive also discovered they take crayon off the walls. I also got red marker out of light brown car upholstery by scrubbing it with a baby wipe! I use them to clean my little one's hands and face too. I use them for all sorts of things.

I agree with Jennifer L - The list of things I don't use baby wipes for would be much shorter! lol

The main use is cleaning my kitchen. Counters, floors, stove, microwave, sink, fridge, high shairs, everything! I use them in my bathrooms (though not on the mirrors - they cause streaks) and even on my antique coffee table. I swear, I love baby wipes and I'll be keeping them around long after my youngest is potty trained!
