Does anyone know how to get rid of bad acne after pregnancy, mostly on the back? I've tried Proactive, I've been back on the pill for a month, but it doesn't seem to be going away and summer is coming!!!!

I recommend not to use pro active, yes it is effective just from the start of using but not till the end otherwise your bad acne wil gets really really bad because there is a lot of chemicals in there, harsh on your skin, I suggest don't touch it seriously don't touch it otherwise it will get infected like what happened to me or use certified organic product which have aloe Vera or tee tree oil helps to heal your acne

You could get a back facial at a spa...they steam your pores open and then exfoliate the skin. They drain individual lesions and then do a calming treatment. For severe acne after pregnancy get oral vitamin A, but only if you're using birth control and because it can cause serious birth defects...and also if you're not breastfeeding since it passes into milk.

a lot of your acne after pregnancy is probably because your hormones are all out of whack since your not pregnant anymore they are just trying to adjust. I had the same problem and after a few months(I know that's a while) but it goes away and maybe change to All dye free laundry soap then your clothes wont irritate your skin as well to cause you to break out.. hope it gets better:)

I use MyChelle facial products. They are organic and made from fruits and vegitables, and my skin absolutely loves it! When I used it after getting home, my skin felt relief and quickly got back to its clean, smooth self. www.mychelle.com. Check it out!

I have had really bad acne all my life. But what seemed to help me personally was taking a luke warm bath. To take the redness away and to open up the pores in my back. Then I would apply a cream based every night like Oxy 10. And was very consistent. And now I get one or two thats about it. But then you have just had a baby and I would give it some time to because your hormones need to settle down to. The pill should help also. I know that acne can be a pain in the butt.
