When should you move your infant from the bassinet to the crib?

I've read the warning label on my bassinet and it says that when baby reaches a certain weight/height or starts to roll over on their own then you need to move them to a crib.

There should be a weight limited posted on the bassinette. Ours was 15lbs. max. which was 3 months for our son.

i started in a cot around 4 onths when he was starting to roll over also at that time i atarted to teach him how to go to sleep in a cot by himself it only took two days and nights he slpet through and now i put him down and walk out he goes straight to sleep such an ease aswell when someone baby sits there is no problem with bed times

My son was 3 months old when I started putting him in his crib in his own room because he made so much noise when sleeping...lol. You can move your baby whenever you feel comfortable with it. My bassinet has a weight limit of 15 lbs. so maybe check to see if yours does. Also when your baby begins to roll over it's a good idea to put them in a crib instead of a bassinet.

My boy was in the bassinet from newborn, all of his one month and 90% of his two months. Between 2 and 3 months, we started putting him in his crib. He obviously wouldnt stay in it for as long as he stayed in the bassinet, but its just the fact of getting use to it i guess. He still naps in his bassinet out in the living room sometimes, but hes sleeps in his crib more now being 3 months and a week old.
