Sharon, I was raised by a wonderful, loving, sacrificing mother and got plenty of baby experience through friends & family, too and didn't NEED a book to define my journey through motherhood but I'm not closed-minded enough to think I can't learn from other sources.

To Sharon,

I too was raised by a a wonderful, loving, sacrificing mother and got plenty of baby experience through friends & family and didn't use the book to "define my journey through motherhood". I feel educating yourself is enlightening by any means, from hands on experience to reading books. And couldn't help but take some offence to your post as it came across as a tad judgemental.

I did enjoy the E.A.S.Y. method and stuck with it, it sure did help with nursing my daughter and her not relying on BF to fall asleep, I actually just stumbled across it at the library.
