Go to carseatdata.org. You put in your car's make, model, and year as well as the type of car seat you are looking for. It will then give you the ones that will fit and rate them for your vehicle. I found this site after buying a car seat that didn't fit in our car.

Check out the Britax roundabout or the roundabout 50 I love it and they fit well in most cars.

The Combi Coccoro is a great convertable seat. My daughter loves it! We are about to move her into a harnessed high back booster and my son into the coccoro because he is getting too big for his infant seat. You can get it in so many different colors too. It goes upto 33 lbs rear facing and 40 lbs forward facing. The hight limit is 40 in. This is from the website. www.combi-intl.com

check your area for people who are licensed to install car seats. Our fire hall does it for free and also a car dealership. they might be able to recommend one but remember if you don't find one that fits you can take it back to the store...but double check on the policy before buying. also measure the back of the car seats and then go out to your vehicle and measure, we had to do this when our first needed to go to convertible as we only had a Toyota tercel and we ended up buying a van a few weeks later because we couldn't find one that fit. It was a 2 door car though and i'm so glad we have the van now lol.

i have an evenflo symphony 65 and my friend got one after seeing mine...she drives a mini cooper and it fits in the back of that...you might want to look into it...it's a great seat - you can find it at toys r us
