I'd like to give a present to my cousin who just had a baby girl. All I can remember is getting lots of clothing. Any ideas?

I got a lot of clothing, too. My daughter didn't even wear all of the clothes she got before she grew out of them! :( I realize now what I really needed was HELP LOL I was a new mother & I had never really been very active with children before my daughter was born. (Read: Maybe a couple hours a year LOL) If someone had offered to make me food, I would have cried with relief.

Cooking for her for a week is the BEST thing you could ever do. I had someone do that for me and it was awesome.

Join up with some friends and get a voucher for some professional baby photos. Don't let those first few days go by without GOOD photos, iphone ones just don't cut it. It will be the most precious gift for the parents, and in the future, for that baby.

Diapers are a good idea. You can never have too many diapers.

Bedding or blankets. Swing or rocker if she doesn't already have one. Playmat for baby.

The idea of some frozen casseroles is a great one. If you do get clothes, the best option would be to get some onesies in size 12-18 months. She'll probably get a TON of newborn clothes, but nothing for when the baby is older.

Diapers, easy to freeze and reheat meals, 'coupons' to clean her house, do her laundry, or hold baby while she showers/naps, etc....
