Best gift for Preschool Teacher?

My daughter attends preschool at the YMCA, while she only has 1 preschool teacher, there are other girls there who interact with her on a daily basis. She will be graduating pre-k soon and heading off to kindergarten. I would like to get them goodbye gifts, but am unsure of what to get. I don't want to get anything too expensive since I have multiple teachers (approximately 20), but I don't want to be too cheap either. Any middle of the road gift suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help.

Just being honest, Sharon, I've gotten a lot of stuff over the years and as special as they (the kids) all are, you simply can't keep everything. Lots of classes around here have 23ish kids- so if each kid got a gift for a teacher, that would be a lot in one year, and what if the teacher has been teaching for a long time? ;)

I teach Pre-K and one of the most thoughtful gifts I ever got was a pack of Dr. Pepper. I loved it and the kid really had learned that that was my morning "coffee." This year, I also had someone give me a giant Kit-Kat. Sometimes the little things are great!

Katherine's idea is great, or just get her a gift card- I know it sounds silly, but think about how many trinkets she may collect over the years- don't buy her another little thing she'll probably want to throw away later.

Here in Australia, gift shops often stock small gift items specifically for teachers and they are fairly inexpensive. Items such as : coffee mugs, book marks, small plaques or magnets to hang up, little garden ornaments and they all have little verses or phrases to do with teachers. If you can't find any such things in your local shops, then maybe a little tea-light candle in a decorative holder, or a small pot plant that will grow and remind her of your little girl.

Well, you can go to freenameastar.com and name a star after her......that's what I did for my daughters teacher and then just bought a really nice frame. If you don't want to do that spend about $15 in different gift cards. $5 a piece, every teacher LOVES those.
