I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago and everything was fine. it was a complete miscarriage so i didn't need a clean out. I bled for 6 days and then it was over. But now i have started bleeding again. Yesterday i had a bit of spotting and a REALLY bad stomach and back cramp (felt like a very long contraction!) It was so painful i was doubled over. Today i am bleeding a little more but not heavy. I have had a few period like cramps again but not as bad a yesterday. Is this normal?

i went for a scan on saturday 27th oct 2012 and bled up until saturday 10th nov (2 weeks) but it had just about stopped, on that night i passed a palm size blood clot, and now am bleeding very heavily, any advice? is this normal?

I'm so sorry. I know that weird things happen after birth, miscarriage, and termination. Also, everyone is different. Personally, I would at the very least put in a call to my gynecologist.

This is my third miscarriage and i didn't have this with any of the others. The bleeding is very light today and no more cramping. I don't think its my period coming back its only been 2 weeks. I was hoping to be ovulating so i could fall pregnant again. with my last miscarriage i fell pregnant 2 weeks after and had my gorgeous son! But i think its just wishful thinking this time :) I'm not sure if i should go see my doctor or not if the bleeding isn't that bad anymore.

I am so sorry about your loss. It takes awhile for your body to recover after a miscarriage. I had one last year (where I bled for 4 weeks!) and my next two periods were very heavy and I had a lot of cramping which is not normal for me so I went back to my doctor. My OB checked me for fibroid tumors but everything look normal so she suggested it was a hormone imbalance. It took 4 cycles for my periods to go back to normal. I took motrin or advil for the cramping and got lower back massages from my husband.

I have had 4 miscarriages and never bled more then once after the initial bleed. I would call your doctor and maybe be checked again to make sure everything is clean. I am sorry to hear of your miscarriage either, never easy.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage but could this possibly be the return of your period? When i had my miscarraige i very quickly returned to my normal cycle and it was quite a bit heaveir than my normal period the 1st time. Might be worth talking to your gp though.
