Is anyone else having a problem with Born Free bottles and leaking? Have only been using for a couple of months as was strictly BF until four months and now are leaking!! So disappointed as they cost SO MUCH!!

So I have checked the clear inserts and one was ripped, but the rest were okay and they are still leaking. I would switch, but these are the only ones my daughter would take (you would not believe the amount of bottles we have!!) apparently she has expensice tastes! I think I may contact the company...

we have 6 bottles and they all leak (some more than others). I would not recommend them.

I used Born Free as well and was frustrated with this issue. But I found the problem. On the clear insert, the piece that has the little nodule on it; this piece joins together to the white piece. On that nodule, that sticks out, there is a slit on one side of the nodule. I have to imagine this helps with flow or suction or something. Anyhow, if the slit gets torn the bottle will leak. I tore several because I was scrubbing it with the bottle brush. So, I had to order some replacements and be more gentle when washing them. Haven't had any problems since then. They really are great bottles.

I use Born Free and they leaked for a bit. Until I figured out I was putting them together wrong. Check and make sure all the bits are tightly together like they are supposed to be before putting on the nipple.

Yes, I had problems with the Born Free bottles leaking as well! I'm currently using Dr. Brown's and they don't leak.

Yea, i don't really like those bottles. I use Evenflo and Gerber and they are good. They don't leak at all.
