Leona is only pooping every other day or so and I am starting to get worried, is she ok what can I do to help her?

My son is the same, he only poops every other day. When I breast fed him he pooped more often then once I changed to formula milk thats when he became a little less regular.

my little boy is the exact same, he wouldnt go everyday, an odd time he would but its mainly every 2 days or so and he doesnt get pains or anything, is she eating fruits and stuff, grapes are great, my little fella would have a handfull of grapes and he's guaranteed to poop by that night

my son whos 18 months poops eevry other day or even evry two days but his not a big eater his not picky he just wont eat he will ave breakfast n then wont ave lunch n then i gott feed him dinner while distracting him with toys books

Bowel movements every other day is fine. If she is struggling to poop then I'd do something, but otherwise don't worry.

depending on the age I have been told it is normal for young babies not to poop for a week or so at a time!!
My son is 18 months and he only poops once a day-and he does get plugged up easily so on occasion it is every other day.. where as I have a g/f who's 2 year old poops 4 or 5 times a day!!! If you are really concerned ask a doc!!

Hello, my granddaughter had triplets, and they are 4mo. We were worried because one of them seemed to be having bowel movements every couple to three days, the doctors said not to worry. That when breast feed they do that alot, and even with formula additive (which that had to have due to being premie) that little ones still do that. Anyways that is what we were told. Hope that helps :)

what ive been told is some babies after 6 weeks old only poop once a week... i was like yes sweet so i wont have to change a bum all the time.. will my son has decided to take millions of poops everyday lol.. apparently soom babies poop alot some dont.. but babies should have atleast 1 poop a week.. but this is just what my doc told me so always make sure u talk to ur doc if u think something is wrong... ur doc should be able to give u some advice on helping ur little one out.. good luck

i dont know how old your daughter is....but what me and my husband (it seemed like our son was constipated the whole first year) did was give our son the gerber prune/apple juice (in the baby isle). JUST A LITTLE BIT otherwise you are going to have a big mess on your hands!!!! if that doesnt work then a TINY BIT of straight prune or apple juice. that should work. if something is still wrong then i would recommend going to the doctor's office.
