Breast size after breastfeeding

My breasts never got bigger during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Well they were huge when I was giving up breastfeeding after 2 weeks then all the milk went away and they went back to normal. Then I lost weight and they got smaller.

Who know what my boobs are going to do I was 32c before my son when I had my son and was bf they when up to 32e and stayed that size now 5 yr later iv had my 2nd baby, when I was preg I when up to a 34f now she here and is 6mths + she fd 3x a day I had to get some more bras so when to get fit they made me 34g omg I vant believe so when to another shop and was the same will I stay this size?? I really hope not

Before I got pregnant with my first child I was a 42DD, when I was pregnant with her I was 18 and went to a 44DD. After I had her and started breastfeeding don't you know I got bigger, I went up to a 46DD. When she was done breastfeeding altogether my breast size did not go up or down. Then 3 years later when I was 21 and in my pregnancy for my son they went to a size of 48DD. While breastfeeding him I went up further to a 50DD. When he was old enough to not breastfeed any longer my final tally (LOL) was a 52DD and still is. I have tried every thing to get them smaller but nothing helps. Believe me it is no fun whatsoever. But everyone is different so you could stay the same or get smaller.

I wish I could have my boobs to go back to normal size. I hate the way it look. imagine you have a pair of water balloon half empty. It's not pretty site hahaha!

I was a 32B before my first prenancy. Went up to a 32E while nursing, back down to a 32B after weaning, back up to a 32E while nursing my second. Expect the trend to continue.

Thanks everyone for sharing! My body type is completely different from my mom so I don't really expect to follow in her foot steps ( I haven't with anything else thus far). And thanks for the advice about wearing a bra constantly... I'll have to be more strict with that. :)

maybe i was a 12D before i fell preganant, i became a 12E while breastfeeding, ive stop breastfeeding for 3 months now and im still a 12E

I was a 38c before I had Children. I went to a 40D when I was breastfeeding, then went down to a 36B after I stopped breastfeeding my children. I'm preggo now so they are cs again but I know that it won't last...

Before I was pregnant, I was a 34B. During the pregnancy, I went up to a D, and my nursing bra was an E! Now that I'm done nursing, my boobs are an A, smaller than before.

I am a small person to begin with only 52kg (115lb) before I was pregnant I was a 12C, whilst I was pregnant I was a 12D but also was 60kg (132lb). I lost all my baby weight in the first 4 days and now 6 months after birth and 4 months after bf I am back to a 12C. I did lose the firmness but with a good push-up bra they're all there lol

I think the size depends more on your family history and how much weight you gain/keep on than it has to do with nursing. The main thing nursing does is make them less firm. I've nursed 4 kids. It's been 5 years since I weaned the last one and I'm about one size bigger than before I had any kids but they're definitely softer these days. Not hideous, just not very firm. Considering I'm in my 40s, that's to be expected anyway but it was definitely made worse by nursing. Neither my mom nor my grandmother nursed and my 85 yr old grandma has perkier boobs than I have. boo hoo hoo! You can help your breasts considerably by being OBSESSED with wearing a bra while nursing. I wore one 24/7 when I was nursing and I think that's why mine are not nearly as limp as a lot of other older moms who nursed their kids.

I am down to one feeding a day with my son and I am only slightly bigger than pre-pregnancy (34D) and hoping to fit back into my old bras soon.... They are so much sexier than what I have been wearing :) and it would be expensive to replace them all...

Before I was pregnant I was a 36 C and I've blown into 40 DD. I haven't had my child yet, but I expect my boobs to stay the same or get bigger, just like my mother's did. She hasn't nursed my baby sister in 1 1/2 years and her boobs are still bigger than what they were before she became pregnant.

I found that mine after nursing were not necessarily smaller but they lacked the firmness thus needing a different kind of support... of course, I also held onto about 10 extra pounds after my second child- so I guess with that in mind, they may have been smaller if I had returned to my prepregnancy weight... Too soon to tell with #3 since she's 3 months and nursing like a champ.

Every woman is different... look at your mother and your grand mother on both sides (if possible) then you may get a better idea of how you will turn out.

I was a 34B before my daughter, after I went to a 36C... stayed that till I was pregnant with my second child, then went to a 38D while pregnant and the beginning of nursing. Now, he is 11 months, I still nurse him 3 times a day... but I am in a 38C...perfectly happy to stay where I am, but I look at my mother and know I am destined to at least a DD before too long!

My boobs have never gone up or down in size. I've bf a total of 44 mos so far between the 4 kids and am still bfing the last one. So far so good w/ my Bs, lol.

Mine went down to prepregnancy size after a few months of breastfeeding too. When I completely stopped, they stayed about the same. Now I am preggy again and my breasts are bigger than ever! I guess it just depends on hormones.

I used to be a 34DD before I was pregnant. I went down to a 34D while i was pregnant and am now a 34C. I've heard my situation was unusual but nontheless it happened.

Maybe. Boobs are something my friends & I discussed while pregnant and postpartum. Our tally showed that most boobs shrank after breastfeeding to smaller than prepregnancy size. A few actually got bigger and stayed bigger. Not many went back to prepregnancy size.
