My daughter is 10 months old. Can she have peanut butter? Like peanut butter and jelly sandwhich? I have given her two of them and she loves them, i just dont load it up with peanut butter! Lol. Is it alright for her to eat that?

The history of withholding high allergen foods was based on the theory that the allergy would be less likely to develop if the foods weren't introduced until a later age. This was proven false last year, and recommendations now state to give foods in any order you wish from age 4-6 months on as long as the baby is physically ready to eat them safely. As long as she's not struggling with the consistency of the peanut butter itself (making her mouth stick shut/choke), then I wouldn't be concerned.
