I had an early ultrasound at 6 weeks and there was a sac but no embryo. I can't offer any concrete advice but it is possible that it's too early to see the embryo (which was the case with me) and it will show up in another week or so. I know it's hard not to stress about it and it is a bit upsetting that they don't really tell you anything, but I think you need to take a deep breath and try to relax about it. If you get no vaginal bleeding/cramping then assume that all is ok, but obviously if something happens to give you cause to suspect a miscarriage then you'll need to go back to your Dr. I wish you all the best.

Oh man, I am so sorry. This must be so hard for you considering you really weren't told what is going on. I honestly don't have any experience in this area. I just wanted to come and offer some support. When is your next ultrasound?
