My son is 8 1/2 months and is teething. He has a rash on his legs from his knee to his ankle that is tough and feels just like the one on his cheeks. Could that be caused by teething? Has anyone else run into this?

could be. Kid are all different. I would call his doctor that is what they paid for...LOL! Put him in a bath of oatmeal, BUT were not going to be able to tell you anything. You need to talk to his doctor.

Have you looked up any info on the internet. I would try to get some photos to compare. You'd hate for it to be something like shingled and ignore it.

If you haven't already, I would call and ask the dr... it may be nothing but they could tell you how to treat it- my son got really bad diaper rash while teething but it was contained to his diaper area
