look through your family history at the names there. Don't rule out last names as many would make such wonderful first or middle names! Like Bridges - wouldn't that be a great first name?

I am about to find out if I'm going to have a boy or a girl but for my boy's name I picked Bowen. When I was looking for names I liked Beckett, Gavin, Garrett, Pierce, Logan, Lucas, and Sterling (which is a family name for me). Good luck and congrats!

If you and hubby are at wits end with names for your son, then you are not meant to choose one now. ( don't get me wrong) I could not stick with a name for my baby when I was pregnant and did not want to know the sex so my hubby and I went through names weekly and we went from a-z then once my son was born we looked him in the eyes and the name Michael Kai (Kai being my father's name which means little ocean in Hawaii) came to us and instantly it suited him to a "T" . Sometimes you are not supposed to first choose a name before but after you see your little miracle in your arms.

My little boy is Torin. And if I have another boy at some point, he'll be Roanan.

I also like Galen or Gavin, Jaydee (like J D), Egan, Emir.

My suggestion, go on a baby naming website and just go through boy names :P That's what I did.

Go with a very very common name from the past. old names are not common at all now days. A friend of mine named her daughter June and everyone just loves it. and other friends son is named oliver. Look up names from the 1900's you'll find lots of names you never hear anymore. I like Henry Warren,Leo Warren, Max,Dean, Ray. Ray warren that one is really cool. and I dont know anyone under 60 or 70 years old named ray!

My new favorite website is Nymbler! Put in names you like, and it gives you more ideas. And it actually works! I have lots of girl ideas, but found out we're expecting a boy. So I put my girl names in, requested boy suggestions, and have liked a lot the ideas!

What are your interests! The stars? Travel? The Bible? There are a lot of interesting names to be found if you look for them. Just remember to make sure the names sound ok together and don't make unfortunate words with the initials.

My husband didn't like my names and we compromised.....therefore they have boring names. I liked Bartholomew and Sebastian and Cassandra and Clementine....

Love Logan, Andrew or Tate. What is your maiden name or Mother or Mother-in-laws maiden name, sometimes they make great first names!

My oldest boys name is Dayler then Bowen and Bently is my youngest. Take some names that you like and change the first letter or family names and add a letter like my husbands grandpa is Emery and my dad is Kay, so we are probably going to name our girl Kemery. Good luck I know it is so hard to come up with names.

Hope these help: Adams, Ajahni, Ayinde, Akio, Bertland, Calvert, Cortrell, Demetrius, Dabari, Esrun, Ferdenand, Gino, Harvey, Ian, Javier, Kelfani, Keino, Lindo, Makai, Orion, Prince, Rhaj, Sylvester, Senior, Tai, Tariq, Victor, Wallace, Xavier, and Zion. I believe that most of these names are culturally interchangeable but they are a good start. Also, just remember that with names being what they are today you can join your and your husband's name together to create a name or spell a name backwards to see what you get. For example my name is Esrunah (the feminine to the above Esrun). The name was create my my dad from the word nurse spelt backwards and has the meaning ... the power of healing and the nurses. So get creative, and know that whatever you choose your baby will be named of your love for him and he will empower that. Good luck and congrats.

My son's dad and I couldn't agree either until I suggested Nicholas, which is a family name for me. We had his first name decided in about 5 seconds.

I fell in love with a boy's name back when I was 17. It's a street in Detroit. I passed it everyday on my way to work. I promised myself that someday I would have a little boy and I would name him "Thatcher". I was 30 when he was born. He's smart, caring, loving, hard working. He has a beautiful wife and loves her dearly. He has a little boy and another due in a week and he's an amazing dad.

I think it's important to put a lot of thought into a name.

"Thatcher" is a really good name.

Little side note...one day, just for the fun of it, I was googling names. I did all my kids names, individually. Thatcher just happens to be the only one in the United States. Now, in all fairness, that is googling first and last name.

It's a really good name.

Be sure to run the initials through a filter as well. Had a friend that wanted to name her son Aiden Scott, but the last name also started with an "S." Not good.

My son's name is Bryceton, there are no other kids with that name in his school. He is 11 we thought he might shorten it to Bryce but no one has. I also like Paxton and Keaton.
