my daughter is still young so we won't have to worry about this for awhile but how young is too young for a cell phone? i didn't even get a cell phone until i was 18 years old, and my husband and i believe that until they can afford to buy one and pay the bill that they don't need one. JIMO when your eight is there really that much that you need to talk to your friends about or where would an 8 year old be by themselves unsupervised that they would need a cell. my cousin just got a 300 dollar phone and he just turned 9 or 10 i think that is just insane I'm 24 and i only have a 100 dollar phone. just curious what the rest of ya'll thought... kids our just growing up too fast now of days
