I am thinking of getting my 8 year old son a cell phone...No he does not really need it but he has been asking for it for a while. Should i get him a cell phone? If do what plan?

I wouldn't get my kid a cell phone just cuz they were asking for it. My girls will be getting one (to share) at 10.5, but only cuz I need them to have it. If I didn't feel a need for them to have it.... they wouldn't be getting one until they are driving and paying for it themselves.



I will be getting them the cheapest, most basic option I can find.
