chapped cheeks!

I'm in the same boat right now with Sam -- his left cheek is chapped (but not his right one -- go figure.) I've been using Aveeno lotion with Lanisoh layered on top of it, and it does seem to be getting better.

A&D Ointment, the yellowish goo kind, not the zinc based one. Worked like a charm on my daughter... Good for both sets of cheeks you can say.

Try to get a hold of som Mary Kay's rich emoulent Night Cream, I call it the pink stuff.
I use it all the time but it is great for chapped skin, rub a little water into it and rub it on at night, if he is going out use it straight.

My son also has very delicate skin and chaps easily - our doctor recommended Aveeno baby lotion. Also keep skin on face as dry as possible even when bathing. It worked for us.

unflavored chapstick or a little bit of diaper ointment when he naps, works wonders!

We use A+D ointment and if that doesn't work use Pinxav--Pinxav works for EVERYTHING! (including the worst diaper rash).

i use regular chap stick. gerber also makes a product called baby faces. it is a big chap stick made for cheeks instead of lips. it is wonderful

I just use a little butt cream on the cheeks (the facial ones!) at bedtime. :-)

Gloves in a Bottle has worked great for my kids chapped faces. (It also works great to prevent diaper rash. I put it on their bottoms about once a week right after they have a bath.)

I have this lotion for eczema, called renew, it is great..non greasy, smelly and doesnt seem to let the chapped checks happen as often.

I order it online and get an extra discount.

Try Badger Balm.com. They have a healing balm that is WONDERFUL. I wash my hands alot and they tend to get chapped I put this on and they feel great... Also a plus they have a sleep balm that is amazing. I use it on my children and myself, and sleep like a baby all night...Hope this helps... : )

paw paw cream is always gentle, natural and you can use it on any part of the body, whether is be the facial cheeks or the bottom cheeks

I have the same problem with my sons cheeks too.
I am not sure what products you have in the U.S but here in Canada we have the Johnsons Soothing Naturals Sooth and Protect balm. You use it before you go outside and then when you come inside, i like it more then vasaline because it doesnt have everything stick to it. Its an amazing product if you have it :)

Vaseline. Put it on as many times a day as you can remember and it does work. I have tried many different creams, lotions etc. and that is what works the best. Aveeno baby also worked but not for long term.

Riley just had a bad case of that and is still going thru it now since it's frigging freezing outside! This is what i do to help it and its worked out very well for me. Make usre to put baby lotion on his cheeks a few times a day esp after he has a bath that way it absorbs better. and before we go out i always put just a little bit of regular vaseline on each cheek and on his chin. The key is to make sure that his skin is moisturized at all times. baby skin is alot thinner than ours and winter is always a culprit for dry skin for all ages.

My son had the same problem since we live in Colorado, and my doctor recom. Aquaphor but it didnt work to well either, so I started using Gentle Naturals, and it healed his skin fast!

my son had the same situation...i had to buy "teeny faces" moisturizing stick..its from GERBER so you know its trusted its probably less than $5 bucks at WALMART...it works

I've used burts bees, eucerin, aveeno, kerry lotion - all have helped chapped cheeks.
