Well is there a change of you being pregnant again? If not it is not that uncommon really. I produced milk off and on for 3 years after my last boy. Some of us it just takes longer is all to dry up completely. If you have a man in your life sometimes they can be the cause of the occasional leak.. Hope this helps Shelley

once you produce milk once your body is always going to be able to produce it.. As long as you still get periods your hormone fluctuations can produce milk.. Which is why some women can breast feed a child 5 years after they stopped .. It's not very good milk though if you think about it.. it is what you eat, drink, and put into your body coming out of that milk.

I did have some milk leakage before I ever even got pregnant, and they tested be to make sure I wasn't producing the hormone that tells your body to lactate, because in some cases it can be a pituitary gland problem. Best bet would be to chat with your Dr.

Well I know my mom still gets milk from her breasts and she is 47. Its been 16 yrs since she last breast fed. As for me, I stopped breast feeding 5 months ago and still occasionally leak. My doctor says its normal and not to worry about it. So unless your pregnant again, I wouldn't worry about it.

There are some medications that will cause you to still produce milk almost indefinately. I only breastfed my Son for 2 months after he was born. He's now 18months and I still leak now and then.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you're on any medications.
