Wow that must be rough at that age. Did the doctor that performed it provide any after care for you? They should have. My boys got done when babies and all we were asked to do for 7-10 days is put some vaseline and a lot of polysporin at each diaper change. They healed in no time.

Yikes -- poor kid. I would suggest warm baths with Epsom salts, followed by some antibiotic ointment and a bit of gauze dressing, to help prevent infection.
