My prem baby is 5 months (3 1/2 corrected) and has a bad cold. Coughing, Sneezing, runny nose, red puffy eyes, sore throat (her voice is weird) and really not her happy self. Ive given her some panadol and put saline in her nose. Anyone have any other tips to help keep her comfortable??

Try a bath with a teaspoon of vapour rub melted into it. The bath will make her relaxed and the vapour rub will help clear her breathing, allowing her to sleep better. Also lots of cuddles and kind words. Poor little mite, hope she gets better soon.

use a humidifier and prop one end of her bed up, it will help keep the mucus from pooling in the back of her throat when she sleeps. a vicks vapor plug in as well as johnsons vapor bubble bath works wonders as well. good luck and hope she feels better soon

possibly hayfever?? get it checked as they maybe able to prescribe something if it is. Other than that you can get something that sucks the mucus out of their nose aiding breathing
