they are most like brax hicks contractions. its prepping you to get ready for this baby. i had them for awhile and when i actually was in labor my contractions felt like them. just time them for an hour, and if they are consistant (5 mins apart) then your probably in labor. but they are tricky mine would go good for almost an hour then they would stop. hope this helped some.

it could be from you being on your feet a little too much but if your stomach is tightening i would go to the doctor to make sure they are not contractions...take it easy mommy :D

I had that too! And not with my first, could be braxton or maybe just ligaments streching from too much activity. Always best to get checked out though, I had an easy first pregnancy and a awful second I bled and all sorts but my son was just fine a healthy 9lb 3oz. So don't be too concerned.

Don't forget that every pregnancy is different and depending on the position of the babies head you can have different pains. Braxton hicks can be uncomfortable but are usually not painful. If in doubt it is always best to get checked out.

When the baby drops and starts running out of room they may push down on your cervix. My son did that whenever I had caffeine at the end of my pregnancy and they were sharp pains but didn't last long. Just take it easy and if you find that the pain is more frequent or gets worse than call your doctor

sounds like braxton hicks. you can try drinking some water. when your body gets low on fluids your hormones get more concentrated and can cause you to have braxton hicks. i had them all the time at the end of my pregnancy. i would get them every 2 minutes for about an hour or so and then they would just go away.
it could also be pressure that the baby is putting on your cervix? at the end of my pregnancy my son would stretch out and his head would push on my cervix and it did not feel nice.
