Could I be pregnant again?

I forgot to take my birth control pill last Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. My husband and I had unprotected sex on Wednesday night. By the time saturday came around I realized I had forgotten my BC pills! I went to double up to get caught up but one fell into the toilet!! :( Now I'm worried because we had sex.. do you think I could become pregnant?! I started bleeding on Saturday like I usually do when my pill pack is done but I don't know if that means I'm safe or if it's just hormone fluctuations from the pills. What do you all think??

Realistically you could become pregnant at any time, but that doesn't necessarily mean you will though. I would wait and see what happens next month. Conception doesn't happen right away and implantation(if there is bleeding or not) doesn't usually happen until 4 or 5 weeks.

The bleeding you had could have been implantation bleeding if conception occurred or it could have been breakthrough bleeding from the missed pills. i would say if you don't get your period at the normal time, you should definitely take a pregnancy test.

Yes the bleeding is similar to my periods, only shorter. The pills that were missed were right smack dab in the middle and according to an ovulation calculator those missed pills fall within the magic time frame : \ Only thing now is... should I expect a normal period in 2 weeks? If I don't have it during the "normal" time than should I consider that a "missed" period?

Was the bleeding like a normal period? If so, you are probably okay. It really depends on which days of the pills they were. It is worse if they were in the middle of the pack (around ovulation time) The only sure way to know is a pregnancy test after you miss a period.
