I also used baby oil for my daughter, but I also used vaseline. They both worked well.

Baby oil! , Put baby oil in their hair and just rub it in well and let it set for a while, it softenes the dry skin and you can use a comb and get it out it might take a few treatments but it works.

For both my kids I have used a small amount of dandruff shampoo (instead of the usual baby stuff) every 5th-or-so washing, gently "scritching" the scalp and being VERY careful to protect the eyes. It clears up cradle cap immediately. It's also good for the behind-the-ears rough stuff.

Try a shampoo w/ tea tree oil. It works great for us, and doesn't have that smell.

All of my children had cradle cap and their doctor recommended head and shoulders believe it or not it worked after just a couple of times of using it. The only thing is you  have to make sure you don't get it in her little eyes ouch.

Yep, baby oil and the soft baby hair brush.  Just use the soft brush to massage the oil in and the stuff will come right off.  Then shampoo.

Try using paul mitchell's baby shampoo. It is non-alkaline and may not bubble up as much but it does work. Another cause of cradle cap is shampoo buildup, try rinsing with fresh, not soapy water.

Olive oil or coconut oil is what I used. I'd rub that into her head in the mornings, brush her hair very well before her bath at night, and then wash the oil out with a natural baby shampoo (vada is my favorite).

Have to agree. The baby oil treatment worked for both my kids.

I bought stuff at Wal- Mart for cradle cap . It works good but it doesn't smell very good. After you do the application comb it with a soft brush then be sure and wash her hair I tell you the smell is bad but works

My daughter's cradle cap never went away on it's own either. I asked her Dr about it at her 2 year check up, and they told me that if i removed it, it shouldn't come back. We did what they recommended and it worked great! We put baby oil on her head and let it soak in for about an hour or so, then I used an oldy baby toothbrush (really soft) and just gently worked the flakes off her scalp. I thought she would hate it, but she seemed to really enjoy the scalp massage. She kept asking for more oil! As soon as i had them all worked off i took her to the tub and washed her hair (a couple times) to get rid of the flakes and the oil. This was a few weeks ago and her scalp has been clean ever since.

Have you tried switching the shampoo?  The Johnson stuff did not work for my daughter, I switched to another brand and boom, it went away.
