Cravings during Pregnancy

well i said a while back id tell you the sex of my baby when i find out and wether my cravings had anything to do with it....well i found out yesterday im having another little girl...so in my case no cravings had nothing to do with sex of baby...because 1st daughter i wanted sugar and this daughter i want lemons and spicy stuff

no way!!! when i was pregnant with my daughter all i ever wanted was hot cheetos and spicy jerky! but, with my son i always wanted chocolate chip cookie dough and fruit!lol

Old Wives tales....there cute to read but it is not like they are based on scientific evidence. I craved chocolate milk not any kind but the already mixed Nestle chocolate milk in the carton with both my pregnancies.....and I had a girl and then a boy.

I never craved spicy foods, just bland things like grilled cheese. My son is 17 months old.

I don't believe that, I had a boy and all I wanted was icecream and cheeseburgers lol As for the high/low myth I don't too much stock in that either. A friend of mine was one week ahead of me when we were pregnant, we both carried low and in front, she had a girl I had a boy lol

HaHa! I don't know about spicy cravings, I always eat spicy food, but when I was pregnant with my son, all I wanted was bacon. I had a foot long BLT sub everyday for lunch for 6 months, lmao!

Each time I was pregnant (4 times - 2 boys and 2 girls) I craved something different. My mom and doctor both told me that cravings are actually your body's way of letting you know what it needs. There is some vitamin, mineral or nutrient in that spicy food that your body is lacking. Congrats on your pregnancy and hope you have a healthy baby no matter what it is.

With my my first son I craved doughnuts and milk even before I found out I was pregnant, and with this one, I craved ice cream before I found out. I will be 7 weeks tomorrow so I don't know what I am having yet, but I will let you know when I find out! Congrats on your pregnancy!

It did for my friend! Twice!

But on a more serious note, the myth says that if you crave sweets or fruits, you're going to have a girl. If you crave salts and spices, you'll have a boy. (I had a girl, and all I wanted was chocolate cake.) However though, it's just a myth, same as if you're carrying high it's always a girl, and carrying low it's always a boy.

Awesome thanks cause my first was a boy and now this is my second and I think im about 6 weeks and for the past 2 weeks all I wanted was spicy food I didnt know I was pregnant till 2 days ago and was wondering why I wanted so much spicy food.
