What is everyone doing about the crib recall? Mine was recalled because of the metal tubing in the frame. My baby is 18 month old but we are planning for another one. Not sure which brand or model!!

my daughters crib was recalled too...i got one that does not have metal in the frame and that does not have a drop down side. the onw i got also has a changing table on the end and drawers and shelving. with a drawer under neath. 200 at walmart

NO because it's a Simplicity and they are out of business now. I did call the place that I bought it from and they are allowing me to return it to either exchange it or they will refund my money. Just not sure which crib to go with now!! It's so frustrating and scaring know of all the recalls and still having to get one!

The company that manufactured your crib should supply you with a repair kit. Remove your mattress and look on the wood that supports it and somewhere you should see a label that gives you the manufacture and model number. Storkcraft sent me two repair kits free of charge.
