my little man now 14 months has croup what is the best treatment i can give with his antibotics

Well, my daughter has croup. The doctors told me it was from a virus, and they prescribed steroids for five days for her to help with the inflammation. I also run a cool-mist humidifier in her room at night, it helps to ease her breathing. I think the cool mist, and maybe taking him for a walk at night (bundle him up) in the cool night air if he's having a hard time, helps to relieve some of the swelling. From what I've read and what the doctor has told me, I think that's about all you can do until it passes! Good luck!
