Cycles after MIRENA Removal?

Hello! I had my MIRENA removed after 3 years. I had it removed on Friday October 28th. I started what I belive to be my first period since removal on that following Sunday, October 30th. It was very heavy and lasted 7 days. I am now into December and should of had my second cycle since removal. I have not had it yet and have tested negative on all pregnancy testsI have taken....
This is my first experience with the MIRENA, I loved it! Had out first child a daughter, Lydia and she is now almost 4 1/2 years old. We are trying for a second child.
I am wondering if this situation is normal? Appreciate any help! THANKS!

I think it was my first cycle, just because I had no bleeding the day of removal. Then "cycle" started 3 days after removal and lasted 7 straight days....
My OB/GYN recommended waiting until the first cycle too. I'm thinking this is just because my cycles' will be irregular for a while. Since I had the MIRENA for 3 years it will take time for my body to get back to "normal". We will keep trying! :-)

What you thought may have been your first cycle could of just bleeding from the removal of your mirena. I would wait another week or so to see if you get your period and if not call your doctor. My doctor told me to wait one cycle before trying and I was pregnant within 3 months of removal.

When I had my Mirena removed I had irregular cycles for a few months. So I would say it's normal.
