Do men really want single moms?

Hi there, I have 3 kids from a previous relationship (we broke up almost 2 years ago) and I am in a new relationship now (been together 2 months). My new bf knows I have kids and has met them a few times and he doesn't care. I asked him if it bothered him that I had kids (he knew before we started going out) and he said "hell no" he has a son from a previous relationship too.
We plan on having some of our own in the future too.

I think having a kid is probably a great way to weed through the duds. There are lots of men who love kids and are great with kids (some of them are single dads, some of them are just single). Give it time, there is definitely still hope.

I found my fiance' when I was pregnant and single :)
I told him, "I'm a package deal, instant family" We are very happy, and my daughter ADORES him!

Just thought I would add... being a Mom shows guys a whole new level of what a woman is capable of. It shows how nuturing and loving you can be... it shows how dedicated you are.... :-)

Absolutely. Believe it or not some guys out there would rather be dating someone with kids. Regardless of whether you have kids or not... good guys will fall in love with someone they care about. Don't get too caught up in looking for a guy... focus on your daughter... and the right guy will find you. I know it's hard to be patient... you should definitely get out and meet people... but just make sure you don't put meeting someone above you kid because you want someone to come in and complete your family... not be there to get your time only. Not that I'm saying you would put anybody above your daughter! I just started blabbing haha. I wish you the best of luck! Smile :-)

I'm a single mom and ask myself the same thing, but I just keep reminding myself that I have several friends who were single moms until they met a guy they eventually married, and I have guy friends that have gotten together with single moms. So yes, of course men will still want you. A man who truly likes you for you will not consider your child "baggage".

Honestly, my man didn't want to seriously date a woman with kids. Then we started casually dating. Now he's a HUGE part of our lives and we all live together.

I had a male friend who was actively looking to date single moms, because he wanted to settle down and have a family, and didn't want to wait for the whole dating/courtship/marriage/thenbabies thing. He enjoyed getting to know a woman and her child/children at the same time. He married a single mom of 2 kids not long ago and they are all very happy.

I can only assume that a good man will still want to pursue a relationship with you no matter your parental status. If a man runs at the mention of your child, then he's not worth your or your daughter's time.

Yes they will. I have three children and my boyfriend has none. He loves me and my kids. We also plan to have some together in the future. So don't worry too much about there is a man out there who will love you and your daughter.

Oh yea. Don't worry about that. As long as he's a decent guy, the fact that you have a kid won't make much of a difference. Speaking from experience here. I'm a single mom too.

I am going through a divorce right now and i am the mother of a 5 and 2 year old. have the most amazing boyfriend i could ever ask for. He treats my kids so great. i was also worried about having kids and dating again. If the person is into you he will except the fact you have a baby. My bf has 5 kids and i have 2 that makes 7 LOL he is also 10 years older then me
