I am a SAHM with my 9 month old son. And I feel like my brain isnt what it used to be! I find myself being very forgetful and just not being able to think straight. Do mommy brains ever go away??

Quoting tara:

With time and mind exercises they do. Try grabbing a book or studying something. Sounds hard I know. But it truly does help. Same with getting at least 30 minutes of PT a day, you should be doing that for your brain also.

Tara is totally right!!! I was finishing up my B.A. when I was pregnant & after I had my son. I feel back up to normal, for the most part, I think a lot of it had to do with me needing to use my brain, for studying, tests, etc.
Also talking a multi-vitamin is a good idea! The brain uses a lot of Omega-3 fatty acid to run well, it can be found in fish, if you don't like fish try flax seeds (they are great on salads).

Check to see if there is a local MOPs group in your area. It's a wonderful time for moms to get together and acually speak face to face with other adults. Wohoo!! Child care is usually provided.

I read that one mom recommended a multi-vitamin especially the acai berry well I have found something even better its called MonaVie. Its a great product packed with tons of antioxidants and good for the entire family. If you take the recommended amount 2oz in the morning and 2oz at night you will get 13 servings of fruit, who doesn't want their family to have fruit in their diets. If your interested visit http://www.mymvinfo.com/1025222. Myself and my family have been drinking it for some time now and I love it and wouldn't go a day without it and I even drank it during my pregnancy and felt great! Its life changing!

Mommy brains never totally go away ( my oldest is 15 and I still have them) just remember to write things down and enjoy all of the wonderful multitasking.

Just a thought...maybe a multivitamin would help. After all you do loose a lot of nutrients after you have a child. I highly recommend Acai berry. I feel like I'm finally running on all cyclinders! lol!
