My son still wets the bed and I was wondering if anyone had any helpful suggestions for this. We have tried meds from the dr. and nothing seems to be working.

based on the age of your child...have a bed time routine, decrease liquid intake at minimum an hour before bed, then take your child pee pee potty before bed with a clean pull-up or diaper, make sure to put a plastic covering between a couple of layers of bed sheets to make it easy to strip off & change quickly if it does occur, you'll already have a clean dry sheet underneath.

Cut down on his liquid intake prior to bed. His last glass of milk, water or juice be at 5:00 pm. If this does not help, place a plastic cover over the mattress and that might work. If he spends the night at someone else's house he will become embarass. I hope this helps and good luck. I am rooting for both you all.

OMG!!!!!!!NO MEDS!!!!!THAT WILL ADD TO THE PROBLEM,,,some kids wet the bed and that sucks but tell your doctor to take a fast run off a short peer,,,it is horrble these drug dealers a.k.a doctors,,,,my grandson will be 8 next mnth he is smart,,,he is very clean even fussy but he wets the bed,,,,when I have him over night I let him have his last drink 2 hrs before bed,,,,I make him pee at bed time,,,I wake him up 2-3 hrs after he falls asleep to make him pee again and then I wake him once more during the night and he doesnt wet the bed but if I let him drink or dont wake him he will pee,,,he is a very deep sleeper,,,some kids are,,,,it is annoying to us but remember it is very embarrassing for them,,,you dont need pull ups and drugs are abuse its alot of work but it is a sure way to stop bed wetting and it is horrble to drug a child to stop them from bed wetting,,,what drug did your doc give your child,,,,that is sad,,,,plz take the time to do it right,,,you will be pleased,,,you may find i tiring but it is part of being a mom right,,,all drugs affect your childs liver and brain,,,I am sure your a good mom who has been misled by an idiotic lazy useless doctor,,,love,,,time patience and keeping the schedule of limited bedtime liquid and waking him up will be helping your child,,,lazy ppl feed thier children drugs becuz it is too much work to do the rquired perfomance to correct the situation,,be a good mom put out the time and throw out the drugs,,,peace,,,,best of luck

I don't let my kids have anything to drink (with the exception of a swallow of water if dry mouthed) after 7pm. And I make them pee when they brush thier teeth right before bed. And if you get up to pee through the night take him too!! Hope this helps!!!

When my daughter was 2. I'll trying to stop using diaper at night. And I use alarm and remain me to wake her up and go to restroom. Maybe its hard for us as mom, that we have to wake in the midnight again. But...thinking that this is the way you teach your children as they are growing up. Passed this process, they will go to restroom by herself. if they getting wet sometimes...just don't make it like a big problem, they still learning in process. Now my daughter is 5 and never get wet on bed. Hope what I've done can help other moms

just wait it out!!!! my son would wet the bed until he was 4. I am a big believer in waiting it out. we used diapers at night so that he wouldn't make a mess and be embarrassed. Just don't make a big deal of it because they can't control it, they are asleep!!! :)

My little brother had a realy bad problem wetting his bed till he was like 9. We tried everything for him, and the only thing that really worked for him was that 30min before bed we would give him a tablespoon full of peanut butter! Don't know what it was about the peanut butter, but it totally helped him stop wetting the bed!! There were a few nights where he forgot to eat the peatnut butter and ended up having an "accident" but as long as he ate the peatnut butter before bed, there were dry nights and happy mornings!!

Well my daughter isn't to that stage yet but other mom's that I know have done it to where they don't give their child anything to drink for up to an hour before bed, and to make then use the restroom right before, don't give them a sippy cup or anything to take to bed, and if they need a drink in the middle of the night, just a little then to use the restoom
