I had extreme heart burn during my pregnancy, after I gave birth it was gone. I honestly believe in the old wives tale that the baby will have a lot of hair when born, my daughter sure did. It will go away, and there is things you may take while pregnant for heartburn if it gets to extreme, ask your doctor. Good luck.

I had heartburn every day I was pregnant with my son...that was one of the symptoms I had that made me think I was pregnant. Bc normally I never have it. It went away once I had him and he DID have a full head of hair. Also got with my daugher but not right away she TO had a full head of hair. =)
I also had tums at all times I ate it like it was candy. The bottle says 8 in a day. I think I broke that rule.

It didn't go away with me until I had my son. I asked the doc for prescription heartburn meds, and they helped a lot during my first pregnancy. This time around its harder to knock out. It doesn't matter if I eat ice and bread, its still there. But try to eat small meals throughout the day, it does help some.

I had heartburn more towards the end of my pregnancy but did have it all the way through..... My little girl had lots of hair so its either true that " you get heartburn if your baby has lots of hair" or its a complete coinsidence

With my 2 girls, I never had it. With this pregnancy, a boy, I have it daily. I'm 25 weeks and it's not getting better! Not sure what you eat but I crave hot & spicy foods and it only makes it worse.

The heartburn is an old wives tale that it's a good sign that your baby is going to have alot of hair:) It did not go away for me until after birth, but every pregnancy is very different. Just keep some Tums around and a glass of milk with it would also be known to relieve some of the burning....I wish you the best of luck!!
