My son has his cup to his mouth for most of the day. Milk, juice water.. he doesn't care, he always wants something to drink. I find that he doesn't eat much at meal times and I think he gets full from drinking. But I can't deny him something to drink, can I?!? He is healthy and gaining wieght fine, but I would still like hime to eat more than drink. Any ideas?

I agree, I think he is drinking way to much. My doctor says 20oz of milk and 4oz of watered down juice and that should be good on a normal basis. In the summer he can have more water while playing. She also has us cut out all drinks 1.5 hours before meals and nothing at the table to drink. My son eats plenty and I do this with my daycare kids as well, and most parents say that they eat so well here why don't they eat like that at home.

Hope this helps
