My 4yr old daughter has it. she was about 6 months when we found out that she has eczema. she would sratch alot in the same areas. I bath her with aveeno baby wash and shampoo and i use Aquaphor healing ointment. also the doctor gave me some ointment for when it gets really bad. so far the three things have helped her. she doesn`t sratch as often. try those things also have your sons doctor test him for allergies so you know what not to give him. cause some foods trigger eczema. I hope my story helps you best of luck.

My nephew has excema... my DB has to give him oatmeal baths (you can buy the stuff by Aveeno), and he uses a prescribed cortizon cream, and Aveeno Oatmeal Lotions.

Renew Lotion is the best!! Its made by a wellness company. All their products are better and safer for your families health. I dont sell the products but I do set up the customer accounts. Let me know if you are interested in learning more.

my 4 year old daughter has eczema in her elbow creases, behind her knees, and under her armpits. She also either has cirrhiosis (sorry, don't know if that's spelled right!) or eczema on her scalp. I use the Eucerin calming cream on her after baths and I try to throughout the day. It works great.  And as far as o her scalp, I use the T gel shampoo about twice a month.

My 3 year old gets eczema pretty bad, especially during season changes (also first popped up with introduction to solids!). I found the Specto Jel eczema for kids body wash and cream had amazing results. I use it on myself as well as I have breakouts of eczema too.

Try Hydrated petrolatum.  You get it at the pharmacy but don't need a prescription.  It costs about $10/jar, but I think it's worh it.  It is the best thing I use on my son's eczema.  He's 13 and has had eczema since birth.

My son has really bad eczema. He scratches himself until he bleeds. We took him to the skin doctor and they gave us a prescription. They also told us not to you scented bath soap or lotions. They recommended Cetaphil soap and cream. Its been working really well. They even said to use cortizone cream during really bad break outs. Hope this helps. Also, I give my son a bath/shower every other day. They recommended not letting him play for a long time in the bath... hope this helps!

my 18 month old baby girl has eczema. she usually gets breakouts on her face. her ped told me to put a very thin layer of cortizone cream on the breakout but no more than 5 days and apply fragrance free baby lotion on the dry area's daily. also use detergent that is clear and fragrance free..... i've found that aveeno baby cream for eczema works great for the lotion part and the clear purex works very well for the laundry part.  hope it helps :)
