Calm down all this stress is not good for you or the baby. Every mother is worrid half to death this is called motherhood. There will not be a day that goes by that you want worry about something or another. The internet is not helpful you read every thing and then assume you have every thing. The fact that you do not feel alot of movement at 22 weeks is nothing to be worrid about just yet. Your baby may be facing your spine at the moment so you will not feel alot of movement. When baby gains weight and gets bigger the kicks will get stronger and stronger and then you will feel like a whole football team is in there. Don't worry all is fine I am sure relax and enjoy the last few weks of freedom before your life changes forever. Look forward to your scan as they can tell you the sex of the baby and I am sure they will put your mind at rest. My daughter did not kick much either and I worrid myself silly but she made up for it in the last 6 weeks or so and was a huge 9lbs 3 oz and three weeks early. Ouch!

Hi Puja, it can be a scary time, I was the same, I didn't feel lots of movements until about 24-26 weeks, movements can really vary, some women have very active babies and others don't once you hit the 28-30 week mark you will begin to feel a kind of routine with the movements, you will be able to tell what is normal for your baby, and if you have concerns once the kicking becomes a little more regular, drink something sweet and cold and lay down on your left side for an hour, usually you will feel some movements, unless they are asleep. But if you are worried go to your doctor and get a check up, I think I went to the doctor and hospital about 6-7 times because I was concerned I wasn't having enough movements, when they would hook me up to the monitor she was moving I just couldn't feel it. I felt pretty silly sometimes but it was worth the peace of mind of knowing everything was ok.

I had really really bad leg cramps especially at the end, they were so back I would wake up screaming in agony, I actually think they were more painful than labour! they just didn't last as long.

With your first it's pretty normal to feel a few aches and pains around your tummy, if you move quickly or twist your body you may feel sharp pains, across your belly and particularity your belly button maybe quite uncomfortable and even painful, usually these are round ligament pains, your muscles stretching.

Not all women get cravings so that is completely normal. A lot of lucky women do not experience any morning sickness and those of us that did, it usually gets better around the 12th -16th week, some women have it for their entire pregnancy, mine got better at 13 weeks then came back with a vengeance at 32 weeks.

So to me all of these things seem very normal, however in saying that II am not a medical professional, so write down all of the symptoms you are having and any question or concerns you have and speak with your doctor, that's what they are there for.

I understand how you feel, I was very scared and convinced that something bad was going to happen, but the most important thing right now is for you to try and relax and much as you can, it can be hard to sleep and it does get harder so rest as much as possible. I know that it feels like such a long time away when you have so many concerns but I am sure you will be fine before you know it you will be a mum.
Good luck with it all!

Hi. I was 17 when I was pregnant with my son Lachlan who is now 15 months. I had fears that there could be something wrong with him. I think every mum does. Keep a kick chart. Write down the date and time every time he/she kicks and if there isn't alot of movement show it to your doctor or midwife the next time you see them and tell them all your concerns. You still have a long way to go so the chances are everything is fine. I also had really bad back pain and my hips constantly played up. It's all part of the "wonderful" experience of being pregnant. I never really had any cravings and never suffered from morning sickness. I guess that is just luck for us. You may be finding it hard to sleep because that's when babies are most active. When we lay down they get more oxygen and energy. I was unable to sleep alot of the time. The things you are eating doesn't make a lot of difference aslongs as you are eating healthy. The main things to stay away from are cold meats from the deli, soft cheeses prossessed meat and pre-packed salads. I have never heard anything about eating guacamole, so that's a new one for me.

Everyone gets worried. The main thing is to make sure you tell your doctor if you think there are any problems. Also watch your blood pressure and any swollen feet or ankles.

I'm sure everything will be fine.

Good Luck!!!

I think you should go to the doctors, they are the best people to help. Plus its best to make sure, But if your in pain they might get you to either goto a physio and check to see how the baby is going. I guessing it's your first baby, its always easy to worry about what gonna happen if there is gonna be something wrong, trust me i have worried when i was pregnant, i can't remember what about, it was 2-3 years ago. But i would not go too much on what you read on the internet. My best advice is goto the doctors asap to make sure and see what they can do to help the pain. Hope that helps.
