I'm due in a month and a half and have been going to see the doctor every 2 weeks. I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I noticed that it was pinkish but I've gone since then and there was nothing. My doctor hasn't checked to see if I'm dialated or if my cervix has thinned. This is my second baby so you'd think I would know but I don't. lol Is this something to be concerned about? With my last pregnancy I was dialated to 3 and 50% effaced the last 3 months I was pregnant. I've been told that the 2nd baby comes quicker. Again, should I be concerned even though I only seen a pinkish color once??

It was probably a bit of your mucous plug!! Mine didn't come out until I was actually in labor and it came out in pieces when ever I would wipe some more would come out. If you have cramping or you see bright red blood call your doctor!!

it depends if its normal for you to spot during your last trimester. im due in a month in a half as well this is my 3rd baby and trust me it hasnt been a breeze. each time u get pregnant your going to experience something new or different with the pregnancy. its common for each baby to be a little easier when delivering but its also common for each one to be harder so it really just depends on your body and how fast its going to react. you can bring it up to your doctor and ask for him/her to check you and tell him/her that your concerned and would feel more comfertable if you were checked.

Call your doc on this one. You don't want to take any chances

it could have been you mucus plug... watch out for signs of labor like cramps and all that fun stuff. Contact your doctor if you are really worried he will be able to tell you how far along you are dialated. And for my friend it was true her thrid baby she went form 4 cm to 10 cm in a matter of a couple minutes she told the nurse to check agian the nurse told her she just did and she was at 10 cm ready to push and by the time the doctor came in he had just enouph time to catch the baby. Every birth she has after that has to be a induction becuase she will not make it to the hospital becuase she lives between 30 and 45 minutes away.

I would definately check with your doc and watch fro any other syptoms. However the second baby does not always come quicker. I was 4 days over due with #1 and 6 days over then induced with #2. As far as labor time he came quicker, but that was probably because I was induced. Had you had sex recently. Toward the end of pregnancy sex can cause a little light bleeding since your vaginal walls are so filled with blood at that point. Bring it up to your doc and see if he/she wants to check you. You can even call the doc nurse and tell them to see if they want you to come in early or wait until the next sceduled appt.

I wouldn't panic if you've only seen it once and you have no other labor symptoms. If it comes back though, or you start feeling any cramping or a low back ache, you should call your doctor right away. Meanwhile, I'd try to take it easy and drink lots of water, just in case.

The doctor will most likely know wen it is close but i'd look out 4 other signs. ususally if its like that with the first then its likely to be with the others. if youre concerned then cud u not jus ask to go into delivery n be checked out? after all it is yours and your baby's health at risk!
