I posted earlier that my daughter was having issues sleeping, and no one answered so, I am trying a different tactic.
When my daughter was almost 2 she had tubes put in her ears as she had had chronic ear infections for almost a year, 1 every month. The tubes were wonderful and worked great..she's never had once since. In November we had her give up her pacifier (I know she's older -almost 4, but we do what we have to). Ever since then we've had issues with her being tired, waking, sluggish, etc. LONG story short, after the dr seen her, he said put her to bed earlier...problem, she either wakes for a few hours a night, or is up really, really early. Tonight again she came in to see me in the bathtub after I put her to bed. I asked her what was wrong, she said she couldn't sleep, but she was tired. She said that she sometimes stops breathing at night and that's why she can't sleep. NOW, this is the first I have heard of this. We've never had a night breathing issue before. I wonder if it's her adenoids. But when the tubes went in would the specialist not have seen an issue with adenoids? Would taking her pacifier away some how triggered an adenoid issue? I'm at a loss right now...I know I'll be calling the dr, but wondered if some moms had the same kind of issues?
