well, this might sound crazy, but my 87 year old grandmother in law says that a few drops of breast milk in the ear will cure an earache. I don't know about that, but I listen intentively to everything the older and wiser generation tell me.

Absolutely! Have her seen by a chiropracter! I have 3 young kids, and whenever they get ear infections, I take them to get their alignment checked. Almost every time, their necks have been out of alignment. All it takes is a little adjustment, and their ears drain and feel better within an hour. I hope you try it and see as much success as I have!

I would go to either a local homeopathic store or center. You can have him get ear candling which can help greatly with the aching and pressure. There are also many types of drops that don't contain antibiotics but still get rid of infections such as ones that contain tea tree oil and grapfruit seed extract. Usually the homeopathic remedies will make him less prone to future infections as well.

Good luck.

Talk to your doctor about tubes in her ears. Our daughter got tubes in her ears last April and has not had an ear infection since. She had 6 between January and April of last year and we were on all sorts of antibiotics. We have not been on one since then. The actual process of the tubes was great also. It was day surgery. We went to the hosp. at 7 am and left by 8:30 am. She was eating donuts and drinking milk at 9:15 am and hasn't stopped since. She was just turning 2 in April. Good Luck!

The best remedy is olive leaf extract is safe and natural a few drops in the mouth. My kids love the taste too. Antibiotics are extremely bad for ear infections considering 95% of tear infections are viral there is no reason for an antibiotic. HOpe this helps...

heat works well.  perhaps she could lay on a hot water bottle or try a hair dryer(just blow it on her ear).  i hope it helps.  good luck!
