My 10 month old is having major issues with eczema on her face and now on her legs and arms. Has anyone found a good method for aleviating the itch or geting rid of this problem?

I had to get an antibiotic from the pediatrician for my daughter. If you find that nothing helps it call your pediatrician.

I can't afford much when it comes to finding solutions for my son's severe eczema. But something that has worked so far and is fairly inexpensive is oatmeal. We use Johnson & Johnson (or Aveeno) Vanilla Oatmeal Body Wash and a oatmeal lotion. We've been doing this for awhile now and my son no longer has serious outbreaks. His skin even stays moisturized for a few days afterward too.

My son has eczema and I found that Aquaphor (an over the counter product) really helps alot, and oatmeal bathes, also I would switch to free (of dyes fragerance etc) bath wash and laundry products, just in case something in them is aggrevating it. I was told by the dermatologist that sometimes allergies make it worse, so you might want to consider testing if methods dont work once she is old enough.

Hi Michelle. There is another thread on here with a mom who is asking about eczema and some good replies. Check it out as you may find something there to help you as well.
