I am curious to know if any of you that have children with Eczema were ever told by your pediatrician's that under no circumstances is your child EVER allowed to have a Small Pox vaccine, should it ever come about again?

my son had eczema growing up and still gets it from time to time, my doctor never said anything like that to me and my boy is up to date on all his vaccinations.

My youngest has eczema and I was never told that. I never asked, however he is going for a physical next month and I am going to ask the doctor. I will let you know what she says

I was never told that but what's in the vaccine? My daughters eczema is allergy related. My niece is allergic to eggs and can't have the flu vaccine. But my LO has had all her vaccinations and is almost 4.
